The Blast Mask is obtained after defending the Old Lady from Sakon.
When you wear the mask, you can press the Attack button to explode, but you will take damage. (If you use you shield and explode, you won't take damage.) The mask is transparent for a little bit after exploding, so you can't use it. It is also one of the 4 Dynamic Masks, because it moves when Link moves.
